Each piece is created with passion and talent while reflecting the colors and living creativity of Africa. Ethnikya has also developed a charter of good practices in order to offer handicraft products, handmade, authentic without the use of substances that could have an adverse effect on the health of our customers, our workers or for the environment. In concrete terms this translates into: - Jewelry that contains no chromium, nickel or any other prohibited products. - Organic cotton with the Oeko Tex label for children's clothing. -Absence of articles based on restricted or prohibited materials such as ivory. Outside of our workshops, we work with artisans from other African countries, always taking care to check that the craftsmen with whom we work are decorated with a label "Fair Trade". Ethnikya selects woven bogolan items and hand-polished stone jewelery by artisans in Mali. In Senegal, we focused on products from recycling. In South Africa and Kenya, we chose maasai jewelery with a totally crazy charm, hand-made by an economic group of very courageous women who are actively working to develop their village. Through our online platform and the various markets in which we participate in France and Europe, we offer our partner artisans a wider audience through our online platform. Our goal will be to promote sharing and diversity through local African crafts.
